| Inhalt | The Economics Department of the Turkish-German University is pleased to announce an Open Guest Lecture as part of the course “Economic Growth and Development” All interested students and faculty members across all disciplines are warmly invited to attend this open guest lecture by Prof. Orhan Torul, Associate Professor of Economics at Boğaziçi University, held as part of the course “Economic Growth and Development” (Bachelor in Economics, 3rd year; delivered by Prof. Guido Neidhöfer). Prof. Torul is a recognized expert in the fields of economic inequality, intergenerational mobility, redistribution, and political economy, with a particular focus on Türkiye. His academic work has been published in leading international journals. The lecture will provide valuable research insights into both historical and contemporary challenges in income distribution in Türkiye, offering an excellent opportunity to engage with frontier economic research. |
