Academic Visit to Munich
With the contributions of the Theo Münch Foundation, from June 23 to June 28, 2025, an academic visit to Munich was made by Prof. Dr. Müge KLEIN, Prof. Dr. Ela Sibel BAYRAK MEYDANOĞLU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakan ÖZDEMİR, Res. Asst. Dr. Selin KARACA VARİNLİOĞLU, Res. Asst. Merve Ahter DEDE, Res. Asst. Ömer HURMACI, Res. Asst. Seyfullah SELİMEFENDİGİL from the Department of Business Administration, and Res. Asst. İbrahim BAŞARAN from the Department of Economics. On June 23, the group was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Derya UYSAL from the Faculty of Economics at Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU). Prof. Dr. Müge KLEIN gave a presentation introducing our University, the Department of Business Administration, and the Department of Economics. Later, the main building of LMU was toured.
On June 24, during the visit to IU International University of Applied Sciences, the group was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Stefan REMHOF. Here, the Head of the Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakan ÖZDEMİR, gave a presentation introducing our University and the Department of Business Administration to Prof. Dr. Stefan REMHOF and a group of students. Then, in order, Res. Asst. Dr. Selin KARACA VARİNLİOĞLU and Res. Asst. Merve Ahter DEDE presented their presentation titled “Von Künstlicher Intelligenz gesteuerte digitale Transformation im Personalmanagement: Perspektiven von HR-Führungskräften,” Res. Asst. Ömer HURMACI and Res. Asst. İbrahim BAŞARAN presented their presentation titled “Psychologische Eigentumstheorie und Start-Ups,” and Res. Asst. Seyfullah SELİMEFENDİGİL presented his presentation titled “Unternehmenswert und Balanced Scorecard: Steuerung immaterieller Erfolgsfaktoren.”
The group visited Munich Urban Colab on June 25, and Jan ERTMANN and Cara KNOTT provided information about TUM International GmbH to the group.
On June 26, the group was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Sarah DIEFENBACH, Dr. Lara CHRISTOFORAKOS, and three doctoral students from the Department of Psychology at the LMU Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. Here, the Head of the Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Hakan ÖZDEMİR, gave a presentation introducing our University and the Department of Business Administration.
