An Interdisciplinary Initiative by Academics from Turkish–German University Through the collaboration of Prof. Dr. Müge Klein (Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Elif Posos Devrani (Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences), faculty members of Turkish–German University, KLEOS Information Technologies and Consultancy Limited Company has been established within the framework of Dijitalpark Technopark, of which the university is a partner. This initiative stands out as a distinctive example of the convergence of interdisciplinary academic expertise with the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Bringing together the knowledge and expertise of two academics from different faculties and disciplines, this initiative is particularly noteworthy in demonstrating how perspectives from the social sciences can contribute innovatively to the fields of artificial intelligence and digital transformation. Prof. Dr. Klein and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Posos Devrani aim not only to develop technological solutions but also to offer a holistic consultancy approach that addresses institutional transformation processes through strategy, culture, and human-centered perspectives.
Representing an important example of transferring academic knowledge into practice through entrepreneurship, strengthening university–industry collaboration, and enhancing societal value creation, this initiative is highly commendable. We express our appreciation for this endeavor and hope to see an increasing number of similar initiatives that reflect the interdisciplinary and innovative approach of Turkish–German University.
