As part of a two-month DAAD-funded research stay, Dr. Hüseyin Nuroğlu from the Turkish-German University in Istanbul conducted a project at the University of Hohenheim during the summer of 2025. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bernd Ebersberger (Chair of Innovation Management), he explored the role of migrant entrepreneurs as drivers of innovation and economic integration.

The study, titled “From Migration to Innovation: A Comparative Analysis of Migrant Entrepreneurs in Türkiye and Germany,” aimed to identify the similarities and differences between the entrepreneurial ecosystems of both countries and to highlight the contribution of migrants to the innovative capacity of these systems.

The research stay at the University of Hohenheim strengthened German-Turkish academic collaboration in the field of entrepreneurship studies and laid the foundation for future joint publications and projects.
