Faculty Academic Council Meeting for the 2025–2026 Spring Semester Held

The Academic Council Meeting of our Faculty for the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year was held in the Conference Hall of the School of Foreign Languages with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal YILDIZ, our General Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ferit KÜÇÜKAY, our Dean Prof. Dr. Elif NUROĞLU, our Faculty Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zaur GASİMOV, and our academic and administrative staff.
During the meeting, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal YILDIZ, delivered the opening speech. In his remarks, he expressed his satisfaction that our Faculty had successfully completed the STAR Accreditation process and earned a four-year accreditation. He thanked all academic and administrative staff members who contributed to this achievement. He also emphasized the importance of the German language courses organized to support the academic development of our research assistants and evaluated the efforts carried out in this regard.
Following the Rector’s speech, the University’s General Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Ferit KÜÇÜKAY, shared his evaluations. Afterwards, the Dean, Prof. Dr. Elif NUROĞLU, presented a general assessment of the 2025–2026 Spring Semester and provided information about the academic and administrative processes within the Faculty. She stated that the increase in the number of scientific publications at our Faculty was gratifying and emphasized the importance of improving academic studies both qualitatively and quantitatively.
In her presentation, Prof. Dr. Elif Nuroğlu evaluated the developments that took place within the Faculty during the spring semester. At the end of the meeting, the opinions and suggestions of the faculty members were received, and a mutual exchange of information took place. The Academic Council Meeting concluded with wishes for a pleasant and productive summer break in 2026.
