Joy and Pride Marked Our University's 10th Commencement Ceremony
The Commencement Ceremony for the 2025–2026 Academic Year of our University was held on 26 June 2026 in an atmosphere of great excitement and celebration. The ceremony was attended by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız; the Deputy Governor of Istanbul, Hasan Gözen; the Deputy Mayor of Beykoz, Özlem Vural Gürzel; the Chief of Beykoz District Police, Cemal Ünlü; our General Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay; our Vice Rectors, Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş, Prof. Dr. Hamide Özden Özkaya Ferendeci, and Prof. Dr. Yunus Ziya Arslan; the deans of our faculties, the director of our vocational school, faculty members, as well as our graduating students and their families.
The ceremony commenced with the academic procession led by our Rector, General Coordinator, Vice Rectors, faculty members, and graduating students. Following a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, the opening speeches were delivered.
During the speeches, our graduates were congratulated on their achievements, and confidence was expressed that, with the academic knowledge, scientific mindset, and international perspective they had gained at the Turkish-German University, they would accomplish significant successes in their future careers.
Following the speeches, certificates of achievement and commemorative gifts were presented to the first-, second-, and third-ranking graduates of the University. In addition, students who had distinguished themselves in sports and academic activities were honored with awards.
The 10th Commencement Ceremony concluded with the traditional cap-tossing celebration after graduates from our institute and faculties received their graduation certificates.
We warmly congratulate all our graduates and wish them good health, happiness, and continued success in the next chapter of their lives.
