Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Turhan, a member of the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, Department of Political Sciences and International Relations, and member of the academic advisory board of the Institut für Europäische Politik, one of the leading research institutions in Germany, participated in the annual conference titled “Forging Futures: The EU, its Neighborhood and Beyond” in Berlin on September 19 and 20, 2024. The international conference brought together leading international academics, technocrats and think tank representatives in the field of European Studies, addressing topics such as the competitiveness of the European Union, the rising populist far right in Europe, the EU enlargement process and geopolitical developments in Europe's neighboring regions.
